and Sale from February 14th through March 18, 2022 at the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library, 801 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT. The exhibit features fine paintings in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor, as well as mixed media and sculpture. The exhibit is free and open to the public during normal library business hours.
Bernard McTigue is the juror for this year’s show. McTigue, a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the Lyme Academy of Fine Art, is the recipient of many honors and awards, including the John Stobart Fellowship. McTigue’s plein air works capture nature’s beauty; additionally, his portfolio includes still life, portraits, and figures.
All are cordially invited to the exhibit’s opening reception on Thursday March 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to enjoy refreshments, to appreciate the art, and to meet the artists.
