The mission of A Little Compassion Inc. is to change the lives of young adults with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities by creating employment and social opportunities that nurture their unique skills, strengths and preferences. We will also take the lead in increasing public awareness and acceptance that young adults with disabilities are vital and valuable community members. We operate The Nest Coffee Shop in Deep River for employment and social opportunities.

Arts for Learning Connecticut
Arts for Learning Connecticut's mission is to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts. Each year our roster of 80+ teaching and performing artists serve in over 60% of towns across CT (including Madison!); we regularly reach at least 150,000 students in schools, libraries, and community centers. AFLCT was founded over 40 years ago with the belief that every child deserves the right to an education that fosters their creativity and allows them to experience and explore the arts.

Camp Rising Sun
Camp Rising Sun welcomes any child aged 5-17 who has faced a diagnosis of cancer and their siblings (8-14 years old) to a week of fun and friendship. Campers can be in treatment, in remission, or anywhere in between. Camp is held in the beautiful hills of Colebrook, CT at the facilities of Camp Jewell, a YMCA campground. Campers stay in heated cabins with other children in their age group along with a dedicated staff. Thanks to our generous supporters there is no cost to attend camp
