Benefits Summary:
Networking Opportunities allow you to meet and build
relationships with other business people in Madison
and other area towns. Business Seminars and materials
offer members in depth information on current topics
such as computers, personnel issues, marketing and sales,
legal, insurance, and town economic development issues.
Political Action is taken when we are aware of issues
that may affect the best interest of the business community.
Member surveys are regularly taken to assure that the
Board of Directors focuses on members' most important
concerns.
Collective Purchasing and Discounts work to keep the
cost of running our businesses as low as possible through
low-cost health insurance, discounted internet advertising,
long distance phone discounts,cellular phone service,
group advertising, etc.
Communications between members is cultivated with general
membership meetings, monthly bulletins, and quarterly
newsletters. We regularly recognize new businesses and
publish a calendar of upcoming events twice a month
in the Waves section of the Shore Line Times.
Public Affairs activities recognize our youth with
scholarships, help us contribute to town beautification,
and participate in a variety of local activities. The
Chamber's Holiday Parade in December brings the entire
community together at a special time of year.
