The parades and fireworks may be behind us, but there are countless ways to enjoy the upcoming months in Madison, CT. July is a packed month with ways to take it all in.

Coming up on Saturday, July 8 from 9am to 4pm is the 44th Annual Antiques, Vintage & Repurposed Treasures Show on the Madison Town Green. The show benefits the North Madison Congregational Church. Check out their website for more info and a discount coupon!

There’s a certain satisfaction that comes with finding a great deal, and now is your chance. The annual Madison Sidewalk Sales will run from Thursday, July 20 through Sunday, July 23.

On Wednesday, July 19 starting at 5:30, join Chamber members from Madison and Clinton at Walker Loden’s Business with a Twist at 788 Boston Post Road, Madison. The evening will be filled with networking, live entertainment, refreshments and great food, plus door prizes. Register here for $10 per person as long as you register ahead!

Also starting July 19 and running from July 19 to July 30, Wednesday through Sunday, is the Madison Lyric Stage’s performance of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society, 297 Boston Post Road, Madison. Special to the July 22 and 29 performances will be a pre-show supper including tapas-style cuisine and wine sponsored by Guilford Savings Bank and held at GSB’s Madison location, 589 Boston Post Road. Summer Fun on the Grassy Strip is free to enjoy and in full swing, which means concerts at the Madison Beach Hotel on Wednesdays at 7pm and kid-friendly movies each Tuesday at sundown. Bring a blanket and head down to enjoy the weather, the beach, and great entertainment. (Make parking easy and grab a shuttle from the Scranton Gazebo or the Madison Surf Club between 6pm and 10pm.) Speaking of music, there are even more options thanks to Madison Beach & Recreation’s Summer Concerts. These free events are Sundays at 6pm on the Town Green and on selected Fridays or Saturdays at 7pm at the Surf Club.

Looking ahead: In August, keep an eye out for information about the annual Beachcomber event in downtown Madison. It’ll be held on Thursday, August 17 from 5pm to 8pm. This year’s event will benefit the volunteer fire departments of Madison: North Madison & Madison Hose.
